Other members who wanted to learn about computer programming used the free website code.org.
Our club had a project meeting. One group of members learned to program using Python. We are using a website called Computer Science Circles from the University of Waterloo. There are free lessons on the website that teach the basics of computer programming.

Today we learned about a magic square. Using a birth date and adding numbers, you could make adjacent tiles equal 41. We also did different forms of programming like scratch, code.org, etc. We did have fun and hope they will be interested in programming in the future and make it more intense.
As stated in one of the previous Blog Posts, sometimes you have to take the hard way to get something done or to get a major problem fixed. After our robot is finished, we have to replace the lock-nuts with keps-nuts. The lock-nuts are easy to remove; making it easier to change something. the keps-nuts are hard to remove because the rubber inside it, drills into the screw. This makes the thing you are attaching it to very stable.
